I've been on-the-road for 2 months now shooting interiors - only stopping back in Harrisonburg to shoot weddings and engagement sessions on weekends. I've had a few people ask, 'what exactly are you shooting' - to which I respond, 'boutique, luxury, and upscale apartments'. They then say, 'what does that mean?'. The only way I can explain it - as with most things - is to show them photos. I'm down in Florida for the next two weeks where most of the apartments have a vibe the Shenandoah Valley is lacking: the beach. It's a nice change of pace - I miss the mountains, but I can't complain about where I am.

Pretty cool commercial campaign for JMU's Office of Financial Aid called 'Madison Forever'.
Uber-simple lighting setup consisting of large window-light from the right, combined with diffused ceiling light (from small strobes) to fill and correct WB issues.
